Surf’s Up Bros!

After way too many months, Surf’s Up Bros! is printed and available for purchase! I made this comic last summer and it was meant to be my original submission for Stumptown Underground’s “Monsters” issue, but it ran a bit too long and I ended up giving them “Pardon My Nuts” instead. While drawing it, I was listening to a lot of surf/summer music at the time and made this comic as a throwback to the old 50′s and 60′s surf movies with a Radical Fortress spin. The whole comic is a song that someone should totally make audible someday.

Surf’s Up Bros! is limited to 19 copies and is $2 postage paid. Get one now in the shop.

Mystic Lady

Radical Fortress catalogue number 9 is a three page comic I made called “Mystic Lady”. It’s appearing in “City Folk”, the newest anthology from Portland’s Stumptown Underground. It was a pleasure to contribute again and I look forward to seeing the finished product.

If you live in the Portland, Oregon area you can get the jump on me. The release party for “City Folk” is TONIGHT at City Hall. Here are the details:

Where: Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Portland, OR
What: “City Folk” Release Party
Who: Office of Mayor Adams and Stumptown Underground
When: Friday, March 26th
Time: 5pm-7pm

More information can be found at this fancy Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=374169369792

I should have copies to sell on the site soon enough. Tons of cool projects are on the way this year in digital and printed forms and I will be so happy when they’re finished and I can talk about them.

1-800-MICE #4 is awesome and available!

There’s a new issue of the super great 1-800-MICE (#4 to be exact) and you should buy it. Get it straight from the source at Ambergris or from PictureBox Inc (signed and doodled).

Cornwall bundle package!

So the first 4 issues of Cornwall are toward the end of their original print run. I will be reprinting them and the remaining unpublished pages of the series as a graphic novel in the coming months, so this is your last chance to get the hand screened and numbered editions.

I am offering them up as a 4 pack for $6 (postage paid) and you will also receive a pdf copy of the unpublished Cornwall #5, which is 90% collage (that’s a preview page up above) and this is the only time it will be seen in full colour. It’s pretty sweet I think and something way different. You’ll get a download of it within 24 hours of your order.

All profits will go towards publishing the complete Cornwall which is going to be a trip, I promise. Tell your friends!
